Sports Icons
Right now this is a pitifully small offering, I know. But it gets its own page because I do hope, in the not-too-distant future, to make a whole bunch more. And, I figure, it's a pretty specific sub-set of icons. Either people want sports-related icons or they don't, there's not a lot of cross-over or middle ground... even the movie ones are from sports movies, usually not watched by people who don't like sports. But there's an exception to every rule, I know, so there might be something here that would appeal to a non-sports person.
In view of full disclosure I am, indeed, a very big sports person. My main teams are the Cleveland Browns and the Kansas City Royals, with the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners serving as back-up. I like soccer well enough, and occassionally go to a Wizard's game. Hockey is fine, though we don't have a team since the Blades left. Professional basketball rates a step below watching cup-stacking or competative tic-tac-toe, but college basketball is fine as long as KU is winning. Nascar... is not a sport. Sorry.
