Laundry Room & Upstairs Hall
Our home inspection listed the shape of our house as "irregular, but functional." I think the "irregular" part may have something to do with the two steps in the upstairs hall, as well as the two steps down into the family room. The only thing I have to do to the hall is paint the trim white and hang pictures. The laundry room is getting a "bug" treatment. I have "buggy" accessories and am going to stamp bugs on the walls. I also still need to hang a drying rod on one wall, and install the doors I bought (after I paint them). They had a regular door on the laundry room, but it opened in and took up most of the room. I bought bi-fold doors that I'm going to have open out into the hallway and fold flat against the walls. That way I get to have my laundry sorter and stuff inside the room. But for now, there's just not a door there at all, as I need to re-frame the door to get the bi-fold doors to fit perfectly.

(the hall hasn't really changed)

I have put up a shelf to the right of the doorway, and do eventually plan on painting the room and cabinets a brighter color - or several. But for now, it's a pretty low priority!
