The Kitchen

Ah, one of the real selling points of the house. This kitchen not only had an island, but a real, usable island. Not a lot has been done in the kitchen to date, other than the replacement of the windows and blinds (Eek! Mini blinds! But they were the only thing that really seemed to work in the space) and the re-contact papering of all the cabinets (that took awhile!). Plans include: taking down the wallpaper border, trimming out the windows, and possibly replacing the knobs (I think a brushed nickel would look nice). I also wouldn't mind getting some sort of soft window treatment, as well, as long as it can be mounted in such a way as to not obscure the view.
