I love all things bread. Cookies, cakes, crackers, doughnuts, and, of course, bread. Bread-y things are the ultimate food. They're filling, and can help settle an upset stomach. They're versatile - saltine crackers, coated with jam? Awesome. Graham crackers covered in frosting? Amazing. Basically, bread can do no wrong.
But that doesn't mean it can't do better.
I honestly cannot believe how long it took me to do this. It's so very obvious. I love the basic bread pudding, made with raisins, sure. But you know what's better than raisins? Dried cranberries. Cranberries are awesome. Bread pudding is awesome. Bread pudding made with dried cranberries? Awesome-awesome.
I use the bread pudding recipe out of the Betty Crocker Cookbook, except I'm lazy, and I just mix all the wet ingredients together and pour them over the chopped bread and fruit in the loaf pans. It seems to work just fine, and cuts out an annoying step that requires a large mixing bowl.
